Elise Archives is a family archive studio in Amsterdam that digitizes photos, letters, and cassette tapes. The whole site was built through conversation: eight pages, a stories section on its own post type, a bilingual English and Spanish setup, and search-ready SEO on every page.

How this site was built
Elise Archives started as a brief for an Amsterdam studio that digitizes family photos, letters, and cassette tapes. The AI built the whole site through conversation: eight pages, a custom Archive Stories post type, and a bilingual English and Spanish setup, and it is live right now.
Every page ships with real SEO through Rank Math: unique titles and descriptions, social preview images, and structured data that search engines read. The stories section runs on a custom post type with five entries, each with its own social image, and GSAP scroll animations carry the brand through every section. Every image on the site was generated with ChatGPT, so there is not a single stock photo involved.
The home page took around 3 hours, and the rest of the site took 2-3 more, optimization and SEO included. That split is typical of a BuildPress build: the home page is where the whole aesthetic gets decided, the design system, the layout, the animations. Once that system exists, every other page inherits it, which is why the remaining pages and the five stories came together so quickly.
