By downloading, installing, or using BuildPress plugins (BuildPress MCP and/or BuildPress Pro), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

2. Description of Service

BuildPress provides WordPress plugins that enable AI-assisted website building through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The plugins run entirely on your WordPress server and connect your AI client to your WordPress installation.

BuildPress does not provide AI processing. You must have a separate subscription to an MCP-compatible AI service (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar). BuildPress provides the tools — your AI service provides the intelligence.

3. License

BuildPress MCP (Free)

Licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later. You may use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with the GPL license terms.

BuildPress Pro (Paid)

Licensed under [license type TBD]. Your license grants you the right to install and use the software on [number TBD] WordPress sites for [duration TBD].

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your WordPress installation and App Passwords
  • The content created through BuildPress (whether by you or by AI)
  • Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and regulations
  • Backing up your WordPress site before major changes
  • Reviewing AI-generated content and structures before publishing

BuildPress tools execute actions on your WordPress site as instructed by your AI client. You are responsible for the instructions you give your AI and the resulting changes to your site.

5. Data and Privacy

BuildPress plugins process data exclusively on your WordPress server. We do not access, store, or process your site data on our infrastructure. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

BuildPress is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all hosting environments, themes, or plugins.

AI-generated content and structures should be reviewed before publishing. While BuildPress includes verification tools, AI output may contain errors, inappropriate content, or structural issues.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildPress shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • Site downtime or performance issues
  • AI-generated content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or harmful
  • Plugin conflicts or compatibility issues
  • Security incidents resulting from misconfigured access controls

You may stop using BuildPress MCP at any time by deactivating and deleting the plugin.
